Your Pictures and Comments
Brian sent the following pictures and comments:
"Don of Dadeville, Al. built it and it is powered with an OS .61FX and it uses Futaba gear. It flies straight up nearly out of sight and tracks well. It is Don's intention to fly it in SPA events. It got a lot of comments and several folks asked for your web site. Don and I intend to fly at least one at our contest and I hope to get to at least one other during the season. Rick asked about the plane after he flew Don's.... he is a very respected and an accomplished pattern flyer. He was third at the NATs a few years ago and can fly a dishwasher if you could get it up to air speed. If he goes to the contest in Atlanta, we will offer the Taurus to him to fly." This plane was built from a Home and Hobby Solutions' Primus kit.
The following pictures were taken at a VR/CS show near Raleigh, NC.
Duane built the white/blue/yellow from an original kit. He modernized the design of his plane to reflect what he thought a modern Taurus would look like. The red/black/yellow plane is the first prototype built for Home and Hobby "research"

Carl E's nicely finished Primus. Carl wrote: "Hi Jeff----Purchased this kit from you some time ago, and I've been meaning to tell you how much I've enjoyed it. It fly's at least as well as the original that I flew and has become a favorite with me. It's very docile at low throttle settings, and a tiger at full speed ---great roll rate.
No, you are not imagining things. This is a highly modified Primus from the fertile mind of Carter P.
